I had a \u2018light-bulb\u2019 moment after my second child was born during pandemic that made me realise that focusing on work with the aim of earning money to pay for the life we wanted to live wasn\u2019t the journey I wanted anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I absolutely love making fun memories and wanted to spend more time with my amazing family; but making memories can cost money so I wanted to focus on stretching our pennies smartly, making sure we’re living comfortably without breaking the bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just a heads-up, though: we’re talking small change here, not a full-blown salary replacement (I love my job in the NHS but didn\u2019t want the pressure that moving through the pay bands brings) , and it’s all pretty easy-going on the effort front. I’ve have tried lots of things over the last couple of years and wanted to share the best ideas with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
